¿que modulación elijo para el router?

Buenas, el caso es que por motivos de actualización de el router contremd 536+, he probado con diferentes modulaciones (fastphat activado):

Con la linea que tienes sin duda ADSL2+, sin fast path conseguiras los 20 megas, con fast path pues el limite que tiene puesto jazztel.. creo que son 12 o 13 megas

En G.DMT tengo más subida y 4 mb menos que en adsl2+. ¿Que diferencias hay entre las dos modulaciones independientemente de la subida y bajada?

logico que te de mas bajada... el limite del adsl son los 8 megas a lo que sincronizabas, ahora estas en el limite del fast path tal como lo tiene configurado jazztel, si desactivas el fast path llegaras a los 20 megas

Hombre, si su attainable, como máximo, llega a 19,6 Mb, su máximo sincronismo no va a superarlo, se quedará en los 19 Mb o sus cercanías, que tampoco está nada mal.

Si quieres tener más subida en modo ADSL2+ puedes poner un firmware de NetComm o Asus.

pero independientemente de la bajada o subida ¿existe algun motivo por el que sea mejor un modo que otro, que no sean los mb a los que sincronices?

1.- Consejo para el futuro: debido al extraño comportamiento de BandaAncha V3 pegando HTML, mejor que pegues en el Bloc de Notas y desde ahí vuelvas a copiar lo que quieras poner en la web. Te evitarás los errores de longitud de mensaje.

2.- Al activar FastPath, Jazztel te baja tu perfil a 12 Mbps. De ahí que aunque tengas mucho margen (16 dB) no aumente tu velocidad. En FastPath tendrás 12 Mbps y sin FastPath alrededor de 18-19 Mbps.

3.- El ADSL antiguo tiene un límite en 8 Mbps de bajada y 1 de subida. Por eso se inventó el ADSL2 y el ADSL2+. La forma de modulación es completamente diferente. En Wikipedia tienes un pequeño resumen, y para datos técnicos de cientos de folios, tienes la web de la ITU.

Entonces la única diferencia es la limitación a 8 mb.
