help please with asl-26555
AFAIK there's no firmware called "generic_ASL-26564" for Amper ASL-26555 router used by Movistar.
Have you tried calling Movistar phone support?
If TR69 remote configuration protocol is active (as it should be in factory settings), your router should receive automatic updates and configuration when reset.
Thank you my friend for your quick reply as i said i don't live in spain so i used # provider if there is any other firmware it will be great the generic that i wrote is not official firmware from movistar
But... even if Movistar has a custom firmware for that router, it should work in any ADSL environment. You simply need to configure the settings for your provider.
You just said you weren't from Spain, not that you weren't living in Spain. Where are you at? Which is your current ISP?
Are you using "generic_ASL-26564_ES_v2.0.0.51B_ESv6_20130423.bin" firmware?
If so, did it work for 14 days and then stopped working on its own? Or did you change any settings in between?
im from morocco and i use Maroc Telecom provider which use PPPOE protocol with 8 35 in pvc my the configuration it been working before now i don't know why
Can you check which is your exact current firmware version?
2.0.0.51B firmare links: Mega - Dropbox
If TR069 was active and pointing to Telefonica servers, configuration could have been remotely changed. You must ensure that TR069 is disabled.
Update manual (spanish): Dropbox
If DSL LED is on, but Internet LED is blinking, the PVC could be up (since VPI/VCI are correct) but PPPoE settings (user/password) for your Maroc Telecom session could have changed.
Thank you my brother for you help i already used this firmware and i downgrade the firmware to b36 from this link with no success anyway i'd like to thank you for your cooperation
i'd like to know if the time can be the cause because is not set correctly i have 2000-11-18 ?
No, it isn't related at all. ADSL routers do not include a battery to keep the date and time, so they always boot with a very old date.
Then later on the boot process, when Internet is already available, they connect with a server using NTP to sync and fetch current time.
So if you're checking logs, the date of those entries will always be wrong until PPPoE link is already up.
Thank you i will test it again and check log than i will told you what i have
no chance brother and no log to check where the probleme come anyway thank you so much maybe i will use openwrt if you know english guide please give it to me
But... are you using the advanced admin interface at port 8000? (http://192.168.1.1:8000/) User: 1234 Pass:1234
yes brother from advanced interface
I don't own an Amper ASL-26555, nor have access to any of them, but its advanced interface is quite similar to older D-Link routers.
In those D-Link admin interfaces, there was an option in STATUS > Logs, to change the verbosity level of the logs.
If we check this official guide (in Spanish) and go to page 40, even though the screen capture is quite small, we can see there's a dropbox in the left side to change the log level.
Maybe if you increase it to debug level, you can check if the problem is in the PPP link and paste the results over here.
Have you re-checked that your user and password with Maroc Telecom are correctly placed?
I meant a "dropdown" list, also called "pulldown" menu.
Sorry brother for delate reply
i got this error always only in this router other router work perfect
