        Hi vukits.

I suppose I hard bricked my WAG320N because I flashed the WAG320N-EU-ANNEXA-ETSI-1.00.13.bin firmware via TFTP in CFE. I read in the wiki page
        wiki.bandaancha.st/Firmware_Modfs_para_L … ksys_WAG320N
        the following sentence:

So I suppose I can debrick my router. I build the DIYGADGET's Router JTAG Cable parallel cable as described
        www.tiaowiki.com/w/Debrick_Routers_Using_JTAG_Cable
        and using

        EJTAG Debrick Utility v3.0.1 Tornado-MOD

and using the parameter -probeonly, I get the following messages:

        CPU Chip ID: 00000110001101011000000101111111 (0635817F)

        Done

It seems there are errors (Halting processor and reading the Flash) that do not allow me to reflash the CFE.

        Can you help me?

        Thank you.

        Federico

PS: I do not know the Spanish language. I'm writing from Italy! Thank you again.

as stated in the wiki, :D

¡OJO! Usar TFTP con el wag320n causa hard brick.

          anyway..

¿Have you tried soft-debricking? (with Sercomm)

          here are the mtd's

Let's got step by step .. (in fact, you just have to flash the cfe( which you can extract it from the firmware image or use mtd0) and debrick it as a soft brick

¿did you follow this? (in order serial port to work, you have to solder a couple of jumpers (just above the serial port)

          cheers

NB: Eko does debricking for 20 or 30 bucks ... just in case ..

            Thank you vukits!

My brick is absolutely an hard brick :(!!! The serial port give me no signals.

I cut the jtag cable to less than 15cm and now the flash chip is probed correctly :).

I think it is now time to flash back the firmware component you send me (THANK YOU MY FRIEND!!!) to my router.

Can you tell me how to use the four MTD you sent me?

            Thank you again!

            Federico

                Hi vukits,

I flashed the file mtd0 as cfe. The writing process ends correctly, but the router does not seems become in soft brick. Indeed the procedure to put the router in recovery mode, described here

                wiki.bandaancha.st/Firmware_Modfs_para_Linksys_WAG320N

does not work: the LED does not turn blinking RED. All the LEDs are off.

I noticed a strange fact. After flashing the file mtd0 you send me, I backup the CFE from router, and the byte are swapped. I try to flash also the backuped file (trying to reorder the byte ;) but the router does not leave the hard brick mode.

I flashed the mtd0.bin and made a backup

I flashed the CFE.BIN.SAVED_20140910_140654 and made a new backup:

I attached sono picture of my setup:

Do you have a file with a whole flash backup? I noticed that the BSP (What is it???) in the router is filled with 00s.

Thank you for the precious support.
